With over 1,00,000 successfully certified students, the 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (Intermediate) at The Yoga Institute Delhi covers the nuances of Traditional Yoga. This includes an introduction to the study of principal Yoga Asanas, Pranayamas, Meditation, Kriyas, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, and Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Further, complete immersion into practical experiences of the concept studies, public speaking, the methodology of teaching, etc. are covered. Three Themes – The Topic of the Month (TOM) a. History and Background of Yoga,b. Modern Physical Approach and the Impact of Materialism.,c. Technology of Yoga
Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras Selected sutras with in-depth meaning are covered.
Bhagwada Gita Selected shlokas of the Bhagwada Gita – their understanding, interpretation, and application.
Bhavas of Buddhi – Basics of yoga education A detailed study of eight traits (Bhavas) of Buddhi acquired due to the influence of Trigunas on Buddhi.
Public speaking / Methodology of Teaching / Practice Teaching Understanding the basic skills of public speaking. Familiarity and demonstration of ability to apply teaching methods. Teaching & Certification

Course Attendance Criteria

After qualifying the attendance criteria, students can appear for the exam (100 marks). Details below:

On successfully passing the exam, students may avail of the triple certification benefit. The Yoga Institute is recognised by the Government of India (Ministry of AYUSH – QCI) and is the first Yoga school to be accredited after the AYUSH -QCI scheme was launched. The course conforms to the syllabus of Level 2 – Yoga Teacher YCB scheme– mentored by AYUSH (Government of India). Once The Yoga Institute’s exams are successfully cleared by the yoga students/participants they are eligible to appear for AYUSH Level 2 exams. This is an RYT 500-hour yoga teacher training course, fully accredited with the Yoga Alliance USA and the participant is eligible to apply on the Yoga Alliance site as Register Yoga Teacher. After successfully completing the online yoga certification course, ITTC certificate holders will be qualified to conduct Yoga sessions for:

 

Exam Details

  • Students will be eligible to appear for the Final certification exams only if they have completed all the required course submissions, class work and the required attendance
  • Students will have to appear for the final exams within 60 days from the course end date.
  • Students will be permitted a maximum of 3 attempts, to clear the final exams, failing which they will have to repeat the course.
  • In the 2nd attempt, they will be exempted from either theory or practical’s, if they have cleared it in their 1st attempt.
  • They will have to appear for both in case of a 3rd attempt.
  • Examiners will evaluate students only as per the final approved list.

 

Exam Schedule

  • The final exam will be held at the end of the course.
  • The mock & final exam dates as well as timings will be finalized and intimated to the students minimum one week prior to the date of the scheduled exams.
  • The format of the exam would be the multiple-choice questions without negative marking.
  • Certificates would be awarded, post clearing exams.
