GENERAL RULES & GUIDELINES – THE YOGA INSTITUTE, DELHI (TYI DELHI)
- The Yoga Institute, Delhi on campus is fitted with CCTV cameras and activities are monitored for safety reasons and proper conduct.
- The Yoga Institute, Delhi reserves the rights of entry or exit or to deny admission to any person or organisations on its campus.
- Greetings and friendly exchanges should be limited to non-physical contact. Amongst students, teachers, staff, working and non-working staff while on TYI DELHI campus.
- Do not destroy any property of TYI DELHI. You are likely to be fined if any incident or instances occur and any damage to the TYI DELHI property is caused.
- Do not litter. Throw the waste in the dust-bins placed around the Institute.
- Be mindful and avoid whistling or playing loud music at the Institute premises.
- Any stolen TYI DELHI property or TYI DELHI content will be considered an offence and action will be taken accordingly.
- Alcohol, drugs, non-vegetarian foods, and smoking are strictly prohibited on TYI DELHI premises.
- Turn off fans and electric lights when not in use. Charging of personal laptops and personal phone/ I pads etc. should be avoided around the Institute.
- Do not flush paper, tissues or rolls down the toilet. Please flush responsibly. Keep wash rooms neat and tidy after use.
- Dispose sanitary pads in the dustbin. Please do not flush the pads in toilet.
We encourage all to uphold Mauna (silence) practice as much as possible.
MANAGEMENT POLICIES – TYI Delhi
- The Yoga Institute Delhi reserves the right to cancel any admission at any point in time; if the TYI DELHI guidelines or rules are violated.
- Copyrights about the print or online material remains with the Institute. Any print or broadcasting prior permission is needed.
- Greetings and friendly exchanges should be limited to non-physical contact. Amongst students, teachers, staff, working and non-working staff while on TYI DELHI campus.
- Final decision rests with the Director and management once proper stalk of situation is taken in case of disparity.
- TYI DELHI management is not responsible for any mishap of personal belongings of visitors, students and participants.

- Online payments are encouraged and appreciated due to the current COVID scenario.
- Re-examination and issue of duplicate certificates charges apply and students have to bear the costs.
- All fees and payments are to be paid in INR currency for National Students and International Students have to make payment in USD. Please confirm the amount before payment.
- Maintain Social Distancing at all times.
STUDENTS/ PARTICIPANTS – TYI DELHI
- Final decision rests with the Director and management once proper stalk of situation is taken in case of disparity.
- Participants/Students are responsible for taking care of their own personal belongings. The Yoga Institute Delhi is not responsible for any loss of personal luggage or possessions.
- Do not eat or disturb when class is ongoing.
- Greetings and friendly exchanges should be limited to non-physical contact. Amongst students, teachers, staff, working and non-working staff while on TYI DELHI
- Online classes conducted are monitored and recorded for quality purposes by TYI DELHI. Turn Off mobile phones, gadgets and other recording devices and videos during class. Phones should be kept on silent mode during class. In case of emergency, excuse yourself and take phone outside of the class. Strictly no recording of any live sessions.
- Clothing worn should be in-line with TYI policies. Avoid provocative out-fits low-cut V neck tops/blouse, backless, hollow, cross strap, holter tops, spaghetti tops, torn and low waist jeans, shorts, shirtless, spandex, bikini etc. When on TYI DELHI campuses ensure proper conduct and language should be polite.
- Course has to be completed and examination to be concluded on student’s part within three months of allowed grace period.
- Hardcopy certificate will be sent by courier to successful students/participants on completion of course formalities. Courier charges apply and students/participants have to bear the costs.
- Handbooks will be provided to the participants/ students for practical and other assignments and study material etc. only in PDF format or in photo state format.
- We have active social media team and our presence is on You Tube, Insta, Facebook, Google Arts & Culture etc. thereby many students voluntarily are taken up for shoots or other roles. It is optional incase participants/ students do not wish to be part of shoot or photographed they can inform the management of course coordinators accordingly.
