Program Details:

The 200 hrs TTC is a comprehensive Yoga teacher training certificate course that prepares students for teaching Yoga techniques worldwide. With over 1,00,000 successfully certified students, the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at The Yoga Institute covers the nuances of Traditional Yoga.

The course covers theoretical and practical aspects of Yoga. The syllabus also consists of experiential learning of unique techniques & concepts pioneered by the founders of our Institute.

Classical Ashtanga Yoga Syllabus – The comprehensive teacher training course for Yoga covers core principles and philosophical foundations of traditional Ashtanga Yoga (Eight Fold Path Yoga). Ideal for Yoga novices it covers an introduction to the study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and Gheranda Samhita. Further, complete immersion into practical experiences of the principal Yoga asanas, pranayamas, Kriyas, concept studies, public speaking, the methodology of teaching, etc. are covered. The Yoga Institute pioneered techniques including, bhavas training. Detailed anatomy and physiology classes conducted by Experts will cover theory and practices.

On successful completion of the Yoga teacher training course, which includes required minimum 80% class attendance, submission of assignments, mid-term and final evaluations (theory & practical’s), successful students will be awarded certificates of The Yoga Institute.

Successful students will also be eligible to appear for the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India – Level 1 Yoga Professionals certificate exam by paying nominal examination fees, conducted by appointed examiners.

Exam Details:

Yoga Students will be eligible to appear for the Final certification exams only if they have completed all the required course submissions, class work and the required attendance.

Students will have to appear for the final exams within 60 days from the course end date.

Students will be permitted a maximum of 3 attempts, to clear the final exams, failing which they will have to repeat the course.

In the 2nd attempt, they will be exempted from either theory or practical’s, if they have cleared it in their 1st attempt.

They will have to appear for both in case of a 3rd attempt.

 

Post qualification, a number of opportunities are open to you, like:

  • Working with schools and teaching children
  • Opening your own yoga center for healthy adults and children
  • Working with corporates for their wellness programs
  • Personal yoga coaching

 

The Yoga Institute is recognised by the Government of India (Ministry of AYUSH) and it was the first yoga teacher training school in India to be accredited after the AYUSH-QCI scheme was launched.

This is RYT 200 hrs TTC, fully accredited with the Yoga Alliance USA and the participant is eligible to apply on Yoga Alliance site as Register Yoga Teacher.

 

Photo and Video Shoot Rights and Policy

The Institute retains all rights to Record/Photoshoot/Video shoot the class for its internal usage, quality purposes and promotional activity.

Exam Details:

After qualifying the attendance criteria, students can appear for the exam (100 marks). Details below

  • The final exam will be held at the end of the course.
  • The mock & final exam dates as well as timings will be finalized and intimated to the students minimum one week prior to the date of the scheduled exams.
  • The format of the exam would be the multiple-choice questions without negative marking.
  • Certificates would be awarded, post clearing exams.

    • Introduction to important Hatha Yoga Texts with special reference to Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Gheranda Samhita.

  • Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology
  • Introduction to Human Systems, Yoga and Health
  • Yoga for wellness – prevention and promotion of positive health

Ashtanga Yoga of Patanjali (Hata Yoga & Raj Yoga)

  • Sahajbhava Asanas

    • Knowledge of selected postures and demonstrated ability to perform these postures – meditative and cultural (dynamic and static versions).
    • Selected psychophysical and conceptual techniques pioneered by The Yoga Institute.
