Course Details

The 200 hrs TTC (Online) is a comprehensive Yoga teacher training certificate course that prepares students for teaching Yoga techniques worldwide. The course covers theoretical and practical aspects of Yoga. The syllabus also consists of experiential learning of unique techniques & concepts pioneered by the founders of our Institute.

Classical Ashtanga Yoga Syllabus – The comprehensive teacher training course for Yoga covers core principles and philosophical foundations of traditional Ashtanga Yoga (Eight Fold Path Yoga). Ideal for Yoga novices it covers an introduction to the study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and Gheranda Samhita. Further, complete immersion into practical experiences of the principal Yoga asanas, pranayamas, Kriyas, concept studies, public speaking, the methodology of teaching, etc. are covered. The Yoga Institute pioneered techniques including, bhavas training. Detailed anatomy and physiology classes conducted by Doctors will cover theory and practices.

On successful completion of the Yoga teacher training course, which includes required class attendance, submission of assignments, mid-term and final evaluations (theory & practical’s), successful students will be awarded certificates of The Yoga Institute.

Successful students will also be eligible to appear for the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of IndiaLevel 1 Yoga Professionals certificate exam by paying nominal examination fees, conducted by appointed examiners.

The Yoga Institute is recognised by the Government of India (Ministry of AYUSH) and it was the first yoga teacher training school in India to be accredited after the AYUSH-QCI scheme was launched.

WHY 200 HRS TTC (ONLINE) IS MOST FAMOUS

This is RYT 200 hrs TTC (Online), fully accredited with the Yoga Alliance USA and the participant is eligible to apply on Yoga Alliance site as Register Yoga Teacher.


Note: Due to Covid-19, TTCs are being conducted online and it shall remain online till the Covid-19 situation turns to stabilise.


Recording Policy of TYI Delhi

The Institute retains all rights to record the live interactive sessions for their internal usage & quality purposes. These recordings are strictly for the institute and the data is stored securely in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. Students are prohibited from recording these live sessions. We will not share any recordings with the students.

No requests for recordings or sharing of the session shall be granted.

Pre-requisites: Wear loose comfortable clothing. Avoid a full breakfast just before the session, as we will be performing asanas. Keep a time gap between the meal and the start of the session. You may have fruit or dry fruit before the session to energize if you wish. Keep a notepad and pen available if you wish to take notes. Good internet connectivity.

Attendance: A student is required to have a minimum 80% attendance, failing which he or she cannot appear for the Institute exam. In such cases, students would be denied certification.

1. All classes need to be compulsorily attended.

2. You cannot turn off the video. Kindly keep all devices including your device volume on mute. Only Zoom app volume should be on.

3. Your attendance will be monitored regularly.

Course Material:  We will be providing you a PDF version of One Month Teacher Training Handbook for your reading and guidance (for your convenience you can take print of that book).

Observation sheet to record the observations of daily practise along with the guidelines for the same.

Examination: The final exams are held at the end of the course.

50 marks theory

50 marks practices (Demo & teaching skills)

The mock & final exam dates as well as timings will be finalized and intimated to the students minimum one week prior to the date of the scheduled exams.

The format of the exam would be the multiple-choice questions without negative marking.

Certificates would be awarded, post clearing exams.

How do we get certificates?

E-certificates would be awarded, post clearing exams and fulfilling the attendance criteria. If hard copies of the certificates are required by the students then they will have to send in a request by email with details to tyidelhi@theyogainstitute.org.

Courier charges are to be borne by the student/participant.

*Mandatory to have a device other than a mobile phone and a Gmail account, to appear for the exam.
